    SlopCut 0.1.0-beta.3: self-updating beta and dev servers

    The app is unchanged since 0.1.0-beta.2. This beta is about the self-hosted server.

    Features

    • Self-update now works on every branch: SLOPCUT_AUTO_UPDATE_BRANCH picks stable, beta or dev.
      The default is stable; the shipped server.env.example sets beta. Beta releases now include
      signed update binaries.
    • dev follows a rolling build of the dev branch, for test servers only. It is published to the
      forge's package registry, not as a release.
    • SLOPCUT_AUTO_UPDATE_PING_INTERVAL accepts any whole number of seconds from 1. A failed download
      is retried after 15 minutes at the earliest.
    • The compose file is now named docker-compose.yml (was compose.yaml).

    Fixes

    • None.

    Known issues

    • Servers on 0.1.0-beta.1 or beta.2 cannot update themselves to this version. Delete the old
      compose.yaml (Compose prefers it over the new file), download this release's docker-compose.yml, add SLOPCUT_AUTO_UPDATE_BRANCH to .env,
      then run docker compose up -d. Updates after that are automatic once SLOPCUT_AUTO_UPDATE=1.
    • No accounts or cloud saves yet; the server serves /v1/health and updates itself.
